MEET YOUR THERAPISTS

JESS STONE, RMT (They/Them)
Jess’s journey in healing began with energy work and yoga. Impassioned for movement, after completing yoga teacher training in 2017, they were eager to learn more about the body and how movement can help us heal. Taking their energetic attunement and passion, Jess embraced a call to help others find healing through body work and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2020.

Jess combines their knowledge of the body and palpation skills to hone in on areas in need of attention. In treatment, Jess uses modalities such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, and General Swedish Massage. Specific areas of interest include the treatment of chronic headaches, jaw pain, and repetitive strain injuries. Demographics of interest include working with the 55+ crowd and members of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Jess describes their treatment style as ‘specific and relaxing’ – working to address each client’s primary complaint while inducing a deeply relaxed state to allow the body to receive treatment. You can expect your treatment to include long, flowing strokes, gentle rocking techniques, and sustained holds.
Outside of the treatment room, Jess can be found hiking Vancouver Island’s trails, sipping a finely brewed cup of coffee, or simply lounging on the couch and taking in all Netflix has to offer.
